Artwork RequirementsGUIDANCE FOR ARTWORK
We are also happy to accept all Barco files and PDF 1.4 files (optimised for print), as well as Artpro 3.6 Please supply all files in their original formats wherever possible, i.e. not as EPS, Tiff, etc., and ensure that all placed images used in files (EPS, TIFF, etc) are enclosed. Fonts are often the cause of problems and although we support font libraries from all the major vendors: -Monotype, Adobe, and linotype, it is not always possible to source every font required. It is acceptable for you to send the fonts used in the job to us as long as you remove it from your system whilst it is with us and we do not carry out any type corrections, only using the font for output to our image setter. Fonts should be genuine postscript fonts and include both printer and screen font. Foreign text such as Japanese or Arabic should be supplied with the text turned to outlines and saved as an EPS wherever possible, it should be noted that this can not be edited from the original EPS supplied. It is desirable that all artwork files are to be accompanied by a clearly marked up colour printout, showing any amendments or special requirements that are not apparent from the disc file. If you have any queries regarding file format or artwork please do not hesitate to contact the Amberley Labels We prefer artwork to be supplied digitally for the Apple Macintosh computer with all the files on CD Rom or floppy disc, 100MB Zip discs. Files can also be accepted via ISDN or E-Mail if required. ( categories: Production )
